The food was tasty and hopefully Greek 😅 the service was very nice and friendly too :) you get some small free starters and dessert.
Maybe toilets could be a bit cleaner, but they were still ok. Unfortunately the restaurant is located next to the street, but in a lower level, so it’s survivable.
What a meal. You have got to visit and I can recommend the chicken or pork spikes. They where both flavoursome, tender and covered with secret sauce. The chicken was honey based that dropped of onto your crisp like potatoes and pita bread. The pork was s spicier sauce that was more s dipping sauce. Equally nice so pick the one you prefer meat wise. We also had stuffed mushrooms for starters. What I really liked was that the waiter / owner talked us through the menu, did not up sell anything and actually told us not to order to many dishes!! Where in UK would do that? The house white wine was probably the least nicest we have had but we still managed to drink 1/2 litre of it. While bill was €31.50. An absolute bargain for what we had
Two waitress, one unfriendly and tired after the whole day of working, the other one was pretty helpful with the menu instead. They have a pic in google with low prices, but it seems that in August they are quite higher. The meat, that we have ordered was tasty, and the plate was big, but we don't recommend to ask for octopus, it was dry, the portion was small and expensive for what we've got. The wine we have order was too hot.
Very Greek interior design with Greek music playing in the background. The waiter is very friendly and speaks excellent English. Their chicken spit and mix grill are tasty. Portions are big. Steer clear of the "Chicken of Pain". Bland and tasteless. Sometimes they serve rice with it, sometimes not. For a sure hit get the Chicken Spit or Mix Grill.
